A Bit More About This Property

It is only a 5 minutes' walk to the ocean. This 3-bdr/4-bath 2-story house is brand new and beautifully decorated, with an open floor plan between the living areas and kitchen.

 

BEACH ACCESS

Beach access is provided via the city boardwalk meandering alongside of Little Lagoon, the Little Lagoon Pass Park and the Pier. Spend the day at the beach or kayaking in Little Lagoon.

 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Choose to either dine at home or at one of the many award-winning restaurants in the area. Gulf Shores is not just a vacation destination, it is a lifestyle - this fabulous tourist community is known for the whitest sand beaches, fishing, golfing, boating, incredible seafood and a family-friendly atmosphere. POOL

Best of all, we have a resort-style pool for you to enjoy on those hot summer days. Its design and function is the definition of luxury. The water is clear and warm and the entire pool is surrounded by a sundeck to lay out and soak up some rays in-between your swim.

 

PETS

Our home is pet friendly! We kindly request a $100 flat fee per pet. Two pets max please. If you bring your pet, we request that you supervise them while outside.

 

PARKING

Up to 4 cars can be parked on the Driveway.

Modern large space. Bathrooms in each room was a HUGE PLUS! Kitchen is small but had everything needed to cook several meals. Beds were comfortable. Be prepared for a lot of stairs as there are stairs to get up to the unit then two more flights inside the unit to get to the bedrooms. Be prepared for small movement (swaying) with the home when the washer/dryer is on or when people walked down the stairs. You can feel the home move (similar to a cruise). Front porch area faces other units and lacks true privacy as other unit balconies are on each side. The shared cottage pool was constantly overpopulated with little kids so we did not get to use it. The propane grill was a plus with all amenities! The beach wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys were awesome. We did not use the fishing pier because we did not want to spend $60 per person for a fishing license. The beach access is about 1/2 mile walk once at the road but not bad. The Beach House Kitchen is 1 mile away! 🧑‍🍳

We decided to do a last minute change in venue after being underwhelmed with our other (non-Airbnb) rental in Gulf Shores. I found Tiyashi's place and reached out to her, and she was so responsive, helpful, and understanding, and was able to get us into one of her places within the hour! Throughout the entire trip, she was so friendly, reaching out and making sure we had everything we needed. Her place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for my teenage boys and me. We loved the ensuite bathrooms in every room, the well-stocked, large kitchen, spacious living/dining room, and porch. The carport was huge and could easily fit 3-4 cars if needed. There was also a grill and plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, etc. in the carport storage. Access to the beach was super easy: you can get there by going under a bridge instead of having to cross a busy street. Its also steps away from the Bay with beautiful sunset views. Full-sized W/D and Keurig were so convenient. We will be back!

It’s also away from the busier intersection near the Hangout, which is great if you have small children. It was a lovely condo, very clean, and the host was kind, friendly, and super responsive. The residence is similar to the photos. The host was very responsive & pleasant. Pay close attention to the instructions to lock the door. Great location, 10 mins walking distance from beach. The parking area is huge! 4-5 cars/ mid size suv’s could fit in the area. 4 full bathrooms & honestly can fit 10-12 ppl. The best restaurants are near orange beach 20mins. ( Check out Zeke’s Landing & Coastal orange beach) I loved going to the beach & pool early in the morning before the crowd arrived, very peaceful.

I loved the 4 full bathrooms it was so helpful with 3 teenage girls they all had their own space. We were not lacking anything on our stay she even had beach towels, chairs and wagon for us to use. If you like fishing bring some poles because there were two great spots Steps away. It was so easy taking my Maltipoo with me as well. We took lots of walks! We will be back!

The house was amazing. Tiyashi was an even better host. Place: house was clean. It was extremely comfortable. Beds were comfortable and no one in my family had any issues sleeping. The kids made use of a tv to play their nintendo. The state of the art laundry machines and kitchens made us feel really comfortable. Location: being across the road from the beach was great. It is away from the noisy tall buildings with big traffic. It feels secluded but still very much part of that beach front strip. Walk to the beach isn’t too bad but I wasn’t a fan of the beach access next to the house. It funnels water into a manmade lake and makes water dirty. We went to another 3 mins drive away, where we parked, ate at a restaurant, and walked to beach area with cleaner water. Host: she was great. Went above and beyond addressing any concern. Replaced an item that was missing immediately. She put that extra effort to make sure our family had an amazing time. We will come back soon!

In 2022, we were finally at a point where we could take our kids to the beach for the first time in their lives, and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. Tiyashi's listing caught our eye for its price, size, and location, and it was perfect. The private beach was very quiet and just a few minutes walk across the street. The house was clean, felt safe, and was a great size for our family. Tiyashi was very communicative about check-in/out, and made sure we didn't have any concerns about the property. When I did reach out, they were very prompt to reply and polite. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Loved it! We loved that each bedroom had a bathroom with shower. The outdoor patio was really nice and stayed cool throughout the day even when it was super hot out. Lots of grassy areas for our dog to go out on spread out from other dogs if needed. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach. There was a wagon with beach chairs and a couple body boards which was really nice. Nice washer and dryer. Only issue is one of the beds had sheets full of dog hair. We washed them though, and it was fine. There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, and hand soap which were provided that we weren’t expecting which was great. We didn’t make it to the pool there, but it always seemed busy. Would go here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The best part of this property is TiyaShi. She’s is very helpful in taking care of and addressing any issue you may have during your stay. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, especially if you have a lot of things, but there is free parking directly across from the beach entrance, which was nice. The pool is small for the amount of houses, but was never so busy that we couldn’t enjoy yourselves. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again!

TiyaShi was AMAZING!!! We drove all night to get to our hotel I booked before hand and overlooked a few reviews that scared us. My daughter in law found TiyaShi's place and we booked it. About 330 AM I messaged her about possibly getting in early as we have been driving all night long. She was WONDERFUL and so thoughtful, she helped us get into the condo early and we were able to actually have a wonderful first day in Gulf Shores. The Condo was wonderful and tastefully decorated, we had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Beach was about a 5 minute walk. House works great for family beach trip. Kitchen is well appointed compared to most. Whole place works well for a week stay. TiyaShi was great and communicates well. Community was good for pets with accessible grass areas. Overall was very quiet. Pool was a bit small for size of community on days with choppy beach conditions. Paved boardwalk to beach covers about half of the distance you will walk, considering you will want to go beyond the bridge of Little Lagoon Pass and get deeper into the beach. Older guests or mobility impaired guests may find it difficult, but it is only 5 minute walk.

TiyaShi was a wonderful host...always responding to my messages within minutes and so helpful and friendly. We loved The Driftwood Haus! It was beautiful and in a great location...lots of little added extras for the house guests. We'll definitely be returning in the future. There's a beautiful walking path behind this area that we really enjoyed. (A great place to fish if you like fishing.) The walk to the beach was only 3-5 minutes. You might want to bring along a wagon to haul everything in; it was a huge help to us! Can't wait until next time!

We loved our stay. It was exactly as pictured. Very clean and beautifully decorated. It was also stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all 4 bathrooms. We were only there for the weekend so we didn’t use the kitchen much , but it was stocked with everything that you would need. The location was a plus, just a 5 minute walk to the beach.
