My family of 8 stayed at the hilltop chalet for a spring break vacation. The interior felt more spacious than the photos, and the hot tub was a highlight because of the ambient string lights. It has that perfect cabin feel interior and is secluded enough you enjoy privacy. Tons of space of board games, karaoke, and pool/movies. 7 minute drive to downtown! Please be careful using the bbq because there’s a family of bears and they peacefully resided on our deck many times. We used binoculars to watch them roam around the cabin, but were shocked one morning to find cubs atop the hot tub cover chewing on the light bulbs. Adorable but big mama was just a few feet away! Overall we got exactly what we expected and cannot recommend this more. We visited in the spring.

Overall we had a nice stay. The space is described well but needs lots of updating, especially in bathrooms, which you cannot tell from the pictures. Location 3 minutes from Ober Mountain which was great because we went to go skiing/snowboarding. Only 8-10 minutes from downtown. Driveway was steep for winter but there was ice melt available for driveway. We were glad we had 4WD. Main roads were all salted as well as this entire neighborhood road. Hot tub worked great. No curtains are blackout. Adding those would definitely be a plus, especially because theatre room is off kitchen with no door to separate.

This was one of the most beautiful cabins I have ever seen, run by the most friendly host we have ever had. Tiyashi truly went above and beyond for us. We eloped in the smoky mountains, and used this incredible cabin for our family to gather and celebrate together. We had a dinner at their beautiful dining table, and everyone was able to spread out and sit on one of the THREE patios, and MULTIPLE living rooms This cabin made our wedding so special and unique and to have such a helpful host just made it perfect. Tiyashi, thank you for everything. We truly could not be more grateful for such a beautiful experience. Our stay at this cozy cabin was nothing short of magical! 🌲 Perched up in the woods, it gave us the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The jacuzzi was such a treat, and the occasional bear sightings made it unforgettable (from a safe distance, of course!). With three spacious levels, we never felt cramped and loved how roomy it was for everyone. The indoor fire pits made the nights extra cozy, and the pool table and games kept us entertained. we honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun getaway!

I spent my 40th birthday weekend at Tiyashi’s cabin and it was well worth it. Due to it being a rainy weekend we didn’t get to get out much so we had to make the best of staying at the cabin and we had a great time utilizing the pool table and games. Watch out for the bears cause they are definitely around & close. My friends and family enjoyed and so do I! Also I can’t forget about how super nice and friendly the host is which made for a super comfortable stay! 10/10

The cabin was lovely. The beds were comfy. Very beautiful inside and out. The hosts were very wonderful at communication. They brought us some propane tanks because we were running low. My kids loved the pool table and air hockey table. The only complaint i have is out of their control and it was that there was so many bears that kept showing up on the property the whole 5 days we were there, so we were very nervous to use the firepit or hot tub. Someone always has to be on bear watch while outside grilling or using the hot tub. Like i said, thats out of their control. Everything about the stay was lovely and i recommend this cabin 100%. Just watch for bears during peak season and lock your car doors because one ended up opening our car door and letting itself inside and we had to use bear spray to get it out before it tore up our seats. Other than those darn bears outside, we loved our stay :)

We had the best experience in this Airbnb. The area is beautiful. The bears are very active during the warmer season so we did get some bear activity around the cabin, but as long as you follow the bear safety rules, you’ll be fine. Our host was more than what we could’ve asked for. She was so accommodating, understanding, and amazing. She communicated with us very throughly. Overall the stay went well and it was a pleasant getaway. Good location, responsive host, quiet area, spacious, clean and comfortable house. However, being that this was one of the most expensive listings we considered, we expected to find a much nicer and more updated rental property for the price we paid. There were several maintenance issues that needed to be addressed within and around the house, all of which impacted the quality of our stay. While the host was very kind and proactive in their communication and asked us each day if we needed anything, the amount of issues that required attention would have significantly disrupted our vacation had we attempted to address them all during our stay. That being said, given how attentive and friendly the host was during our stay, and even after, helping us retrieve a forgotten ítem, I am hopeful the concerns we brought up will be addressed and updated soon, and I’m sure this will be a very enjoyable place to stay for future guests.

Location is mid mountain in chalet village. View of trees. Property is as pictured - rustic charm, cozy and warm for 8 of us including 4 kids who enjoyed the pool table, arcade and foosball, not to mention the theater. Layout of theater area right next to kitchen is not ideal. Bottom floor is spacious master bedroom and top floor is pitched roof with high ceiling. Middle floor height bit low. Great property and would come back again. Recommend!

By far, the best host we’ve ever had. We have had some remarkable hosts over the years but Tiyashi takes the cake on this one. From the moment we booked the cabin all the way to check out, she was amazing and just so sweet, helpful, and accommodating! This cabin was beyond perfect for our family and as many times as we have stayed in the mountains we’ve never had bear encounters but definitely did here! Everyday we were visited by bears of all ages. We were a little nervous to use the grill because of the bears but we gave it a go and all was fine. Our family especially enjoyed the fire pit nightly and the hot tub. WiFi worked perfectly but cell service is non existent which is exactly what we wanted! Perfect get away from the craziness of life. The reset our family needed. Every bathroom came with shampoo and conditioner and body wash. The sinks had hand soap and the kitchen was stocked with dish soap and trash bags which is unusual. Definitely recommend! 10/10!

I planned a stay at Tiyashi's cabin for a large group of my close friends and family members to celebrate before my upcoming wedding, and the cabin added so much positivity to what has been one of my favorite trips ever. There was plenty of space and so many homey touches and thoughtful features that added to our experience. There were countless special features such as the hot tub, the fire pit, the grill, the games, the open kitchen, the giant dining room table, and the gorgeous balconies and porches furnished with rocking chairs, benches, and decorative lights. What's more is how the host had everything set up for us to use so easily: propane already in the grill, instructions for using the lights, you name it. I'm already looking to bring my family back here for another holiday soon. Oh, and thank goodness Tiyashi gave us proactive information about the bear activity. We were well prepared and safe for the numerous bear sightings, which only added to the fun of the weekend.

We loved our stay here! Tiyashi was super friendly and helpful. She even had booklets in the cabin with local recommendations of indoor & outdoor activities, restaurants, etc. AND had plenty of information for us to make sure we were adequately prepared in case we saw bears on the property (which we did, daily). It was a highlight to watch mama bear & her cubs, safely. The cabin is in a great location, 10ish minutes from downtown. And if you decide to hang out in the cabin (or don’t want to drive the curves at night), there's plenty to do in the cabin with multiple living areas, billiards, foosball, hot tub, and a small theater room. A huge plus for us was the dining table that fits 12, with another high top table for 4. Very rarely do we visit a place that actually has enough dining space for us to enjoy family meals together. This is a well cared for property with a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin. Expansive space. Traveled with extended family of 8 for Christmas Holiday. Home was beautifully decorated. Well appointed. PLENTY of space and bathrooms for all spread out across 3 floors of living space. Host was very responsive and extremely informative throughout the booking and stay. We experienced only a few minor issues during our stay, all of them to be expected in a mountain cabin location such as this. Host responded immediately. A fantastic spot to decompress and relax with family and friends. Regarding the area itself, access roads are extremely narrow and run along steep cliff/hillsides. They are not easily walkable as traffic would make this difficult. We drove into town to take walks. We saw several black bears on the property, which was fantastic to see from the high porches, but did render a well deserved sense of caution when taking out trash or using the outdoor firepit. All said, an excellent and very real experience in the Smokey Mountains.

Tiyashi was excellent in communicating with us and provided clear instructions, which we appreciated. However, the property didn't fully meet our expectations given the price. On the plus side, the hot tub and outdoor firepit were well-maintained and a joy to use. The downsides largely relate to maintenance and functionality. For example, the single switch controlling both the fan and its light was inconvenient, requiring manual adjustments. There were also noticeable maintenance issues like missing baseboard trim, holes in the walls, and a tub surround that was peeling at the bottom. Additionally, some of the advertised amenities fell short. The foosball table had missing pieces, making it unusable. The main living room TV also had cable box issues. Tiyashi attempted to resolve these but it would've required time from our vacation, which is not what we paid for. In summary, while Tiyashi was a responsive host, the property needs attention to offer better value for future guests.

This cabin was a perfect layout for our party of 11 (5 adults, 6 kids ages 3-12). We adequate room to spread out. After reading a review prior to our trip I was concerned about the Bear encounters, Tiyashi provided some rules and tips that we followed and after the first few sightings we felt comfortable knowing the Bears were really just making their rounds looking for food. Tiyashi is excellent host! He was always available via text or phone, he had the bunk beds replaced right before we arrived, so we entered with some work going on in the home, didnt get the experience of walking through the cabin on our own but I appreciated the fact he rushed to get two new bunk beds knowing we had 6 kids that we’re excited for that. There was a very dangerous storm in the area with 80 mile hour winds the last day of our trip that knocked out power, Tiyashi was in constant touch with me, reporting the outage and providing updates, this was out of his control, but did the best he could.

The home was rented for a family reunion. I would say we selected the home because it fit what we were looking for and seemed like a luxury experience in the mountains with a view. Though the home was comfortable, clean, and served its purpose - it DID NOT have a view. The photos in the listing must have been taken in the winter, with no tree obstruction - but in reality, none of the three balconies have a view - just tree privacy. Aside from that, experience overall was good with the host and the location - with exception of the increasingly aggressive activities of bears. The host shared bear safety tips which we followed and either way, there were bears walking up to the house constantly - the deck, balconies, etc. and even vandalized one of our cars. Beware and make sure to keep all doors closed and locked at all times. It is not safe to just be outside on balconies or leave anything open / unlocked EVER.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. The house was exactly, if not better, than described in the listing. It’s a very spacious cabin with so many different areas to enjoy including the decks, fire pit area, hot tub (so clean and warm), theater space, game area with pool table, huge kitchen and dining table. The bedrooms are great sizes and the beds were very comfy. We came for spring break with our 2 teenage sons and 2 of their friends. It’s a very short drive (5-10 min) down the mountain to the main Gatlinburg strip. We made many meals in the perfectly stocked kitchen. Tiyashi was an amazing host. Super communicative, responsive, and helpful. It truly was a perfect stay. Look no further. You will not be disappointed with this rental, I promise!

Tiyashi’s place was amazing. The whole family fit comfortably. We spent a day in the cabin without going out and had no problem keeping entertained with all the amenities. We had an issue with the hot tub. We let Tiyashi know and within an hour the maintenance guy was there to fix it. She communicates fast and efficiently. If I had to say anything bad it would be that we didn’t see any bears lol. The family was excited to see one but we didn’t get that chance. Maybe next time! We loved our stay.

We had a great time with the family for Christmas 12/23 to 12/26 2022, Tiyashi was always there for anything, we needed it ice melt for the driveway and she sent the maintenance people to spread salt where was needed it was 1 degrees that day outside, the house is as described very clean, organized, we all liked we felt it was our own house 🥰, a least for threes days. This cabin is a gem! Situated minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, but still felt super private. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms, making this cabin perfect for large groups, or multiple couples. The amount of outdoor space was insane! Three large wrap around decks, and the hot tub and fire pit areas were just perfect! It was all well lit, and super inviting. We loved watching the bears from the front porch every morning. Parking is a bit steep, but there’s ample space for multiple vehicles — there’s also a little gravel turnaround area about mid-way down, so you don’t have to worry about backing into oncoming street traffic. The cabin itself is well equipped! From popcorn, to billiards, this cabin has it all to ensure everyone is enter entertained. I especially love that it’s pet friendly.

Great stay. Great communication. Great location. Plenty of space. Beautiful Chalet. If you have a baby that is a crawler or just starting to walk - you may need to bring some kind of baby gate because they could easily fall--there's 3 floors, the kitchen is located in the 2nd floor. They do have a high chair which is super plus for us. My 5 year old loves the arcade, foosball and theater.

If you’re thinking about booking this place definitely do it 😊 quick and easy booking! Arriving at the cabin went smoothly they have a new theatre area that has reclining seats . The jacuzzi was also a 10/10. The bonfire with the string lights made the ambience 10 times better . You wouldn’t want to miss staying here ! We’ve only seen 1 bear 🐻. It opened our car and stole some pistachios 😂 so keep in mind to lock your car doors as we forgot to . Every question I had was answered in timely manner . Thank you for having us !

Beautiful cabin, extremely clean, relaxing outdoor space with lots of seating, great location, wonderful host. The neighborhood bears gave us a nice welcome! Momma bear surprised my husband as he was walking up the stairs, she was coming down. Lots to do on the property and includes a fully stocked kitchen so you can grab groceries and not have to leave the cabin. If you wish to venture out, the cabin is less than 10 minutes to Gatlinburg, you go in the back way so you avoid the traffic jam from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg. Ober Gatlinburg is 1/4 mile up Ski Mountain road if you are interested in that attraction, you’ll avoid the $19 per person tram cost and just pay a $10 parking fee. We had a great time and this was a wonderful place to stay, you will not be disappointed.

This place was seriously awesome! We came with a small group of older teens and had the best time! Tiyashi and her partner were super communicative, called us to ensure everything was ok, and answered right away with any questions. The instructions were all really clear. The vibe in the house is awesome, our group really loved it. It’s super log cabin vibe, but the tiled floor adds a bit of moderness to it. It’s very clean, and spacious. There’s a lot of chill areas- there are two rooms on two floors with couches and fireplace etc. (One game wasn’t working but other than that everything was great.) the hot tub was grand and the fire pit was beautiful l- the lights around really finish off the magical feel! Ty tiyashi- I would def recommend this to everyone!!

The outdoor space makes this place! The hot tub and fire pit were extremely clean. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountains. TiyaShi was a great host and quick to respond to any questions we had including suggestions on where to hike. The location is perfect for being near hiking trails and activities but also nestled in the woods for seclusion. The neighborhood bears were the icing on the cake. I noticed some people wrote you should bring bear spray. There is no need to be afraid of them. They are really docile animals (more like squirrels) as long as you don’t do anything stupid like try to feed them. We looked forward to seeing the mama and cubs come by the porch every day! There were a total of 6 bears that literally came to the porch every day to say hi. You can’t put a price on an experience like that!! I think our kids will always remember this vacation. 😊

We had a bit of a rough start, as nothing is ever 100% perfect, but anytime we needed assistance or concerns TiyaShi was very, and quickly, responsive and helped us tremendously despite being out of the country. We did have difficulty with the stove (couple of eyes didn’t work, but we had a very capable handyman who managed to get one back on, the other it was a connector issue that we could not fix), we didn’t know we needed a lock for the trash bin outside (we used a cotter pin to keep it locked so the bears couldn’t get into it - and we left it on there), and a few other odds and ends (screens not completely in place, we did have ants but not horribly bad, a screen was slashed on arrival - maybe a bear did it?). We had plenty of room for 3 families. The views weren’t as open as expected (probably because it was summer and all the trees were beautifully in bloom). But as we told her, my husband and I base majority of our reviews off of customer service. Any time we had any problems she was super responsive and tried to help us the best she could which made any issues we had minute. We could NOT have asked for a better hostess!! She was willing to get maintenance there at a time that worked for us, but we were able to care for the issues and she was ok with it - we kept her up to date of things we fixed, but it may have been temporary fixes. Just knowing she was easy to talk to and get ahold of made everything much better! I cannot say enough good things about her hospitality. Everyone needs to remember nothing is ever 100% perfect- hotel rooms, various AirBNBs, VRBOs, but she was by far the best hostess/owner I have ever dealt with when renting a place. I would, and hopefully will, stay again!! Thank you, Ms. TiyaShi for letting us stay and helping us have a wonderful family vacation!! And yes, plan to see bears - daily. Maybe even a few times a day. One even charged one of our friends - so if you have that on the ring camera - can you please send a copy of that video?? 😂 The sitting area, fire pit, and hot tub made for an amazing place to unwind after being busy and running around with our kids. The porches were also well covered so when the storms and rains came in, it made for peaceful rocking and listening to the rain. But Ms. TiyaShi is why I give it a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review! My family and I LOVED this cabin! It’s right in the heart of Gatlinburg, close to everything. It’s also nestled in the mountains, so expect to see bear sightings. We loved seeing the bears because my family from Canada have never seen a bear in the wild. The cabin is amazing though! It had plenty of room for us, and had plenty of things to keep us all occupied. It made family bonding so much easier. Tiyashi was very helpful and responsive! I liked that the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived, and there were clear instructions on how to use everything like the fire pit, etc. My family loved the rustic look of the cabin too, we truly got the Tennessee experience. Would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a cabin that is private up the mountains, spacious, with a great vibe and atmosphere, something thats only a 15 minute drive away from all the attractions as well as having very crisp and fresh air and atmosphere to get away from it all then this is the perfect cabin for you.
